A range of policy and legislative developments in the last 15 years have set a climate for increased service user participation in the provision and management of voluntary housing services. However, in housing and support this area of good practice is less well developed. Although many service providers as difficult to implement, likely to raise unrealistic expectations and is therefore given a low priority. Within the context of two earlier research studies of tenant participation in supported housing, this report examines four organisations aiming to develop good practice that can be replicated by other organisations and individual projects.
