Publisher's Synopsis
In 1946, a refugee journalist to England wrote a book called How to be an Alien. I read the book in high school. A 2023 trip to Toronto provided me with the idea. I'd been to Canada before, but mostly for business. Definitely read the original by George Mikes and you will get some idea. My purpose is to give helpful hints, provide sources for those who want to go deeper. I did want it to be funny, silly and sarcastic. I have chapters about food, Ice Hockey, (what would Canada be without hockey), a bit about staying out of trouble. Other aliens can use it, but as Americans, we are the next door neighbor who gets to share a continent.
