Publisher's Synopsis
It's July 2015 and the Tour de France is entering its final week. Team Sky are at the height of their powers and have a stranglehold on the race. Six friends are travelling to the Alps to follow in their heroes' footsteps to ride the high mountain peaks of the Tour and spectate at the great race on Alpe d'Huez. They've got all the gear, way too much beer, and very little idea.
From the 2015 Tour to their defining moment on the slopes of the Col du Galibier in 2019 and subsequent stage performance at the Harrogate Road World Championships, we chart their unintentional and bizarre journey from incompetent and immature cyclists to incompetent and immature UCI award winners.
