Publisher's Synopsis
Dinosaurs, elephants, horses, dolphins, and vultures are among Mother Natureas favorite creatures on Earth. These tales begin with the dinosaurs, or thundering lizards, who ruled the Earth for millions of years. They would have continued to be here had they only complied with Mother Natureas wishes to make room for mankind. There was room for all her creatures, but the dinosaurs felt otherwise. After the millions of years of sole ownership, they were not about to share Earth with mankind. So, Mother Nature had to remove them. However she kept their good characteristics in the creatures that came upon the Earth after their reign ended. Mother natureas creatures would not be complete without including mankind, or the hunter. Hunters are the predators, and they include all the flesh eaters. Even among the predators, there is an order of dining. Larger usually eats smaller; however, aggressiveness counts too! One must not discount cooperativeness either. But in the last analysis, intelligence is prime, and mankind is the smartest, and therefore the best hunter. This story is about man the hunter and the need to keep the balance between him and the other creatures as Mother Nature desires.
