Publisher's Synopsis
Triple-bill of US romantic comedies. In 'How Do You Know?' (2010) former athlete Lisa (Reese Witherspoon) meets troubled business executive George (Paul Rudd) at a bad time. While Lisa is facing a difficult transition in her life, feeling past her athletic prime and questioning her current relationship with egotistical baseball player Manny (Owen Wilson), George is facing the prospect of financial ruin as his father's company is subject to a federal investigation for shady dealing. Can romance blossom despite the odds? And how do you know who is 'the one'? In 'Definitely, Maybe' (2008) Will Hayes (Ryan Reynolds) is a 30-something father who is in the middle of a divorce when his 10-year-old daughter, Maya (Abigail Breslin), asks him to describe his life before he married her mother. For Maya, Will recounts his past as an ambitious young politician. He also recalls relationships he had with three very different women, changing their names so Maya has to guess who the woman is that her father finally married. Is her mother Will's college sweetheart, Emily (Elizabeth Banks)? Or his longtime best friend and confidante, April (Isla Fisher)? Or is she the free-spirited and ambitious journalist, Summer (Rachel Weisz)? Finally, in 'Just Go With It' (2011), Danny (Adam Sandler) has long relied on a cheap but surprisingly effective trick to entice women into no-strings-attached, short-term flings: he wears a gold ring and pretends to be (unhappily) married. But something is different when he meets the beautiful Palmer (Brooklyn Decker), who is appalled to discover that Danny is 'married'. Before long, Danny is pleading with his colleague Katherine (Jennifer Aniston) to do him a very unusual favour...
