Publisher's Synopsis
It has been a long time -specifically 18 years since 1995, Ho Math Chess has been embarking on the project of researching and creating integrated math, chess, and puzzles workbooks using our own proprietary and copyrighted intellectual properties. These world first workbooks are very different from traditional workbooks and we believe the births of our workbooks have truly and successfully mixed fun with math by integrating chess and puzzles into math worksheets. Today's children are not happy to work on paper-and-pencil type of traditional basic math worksheets which provide no stimulus and do not keep up with modern technology. Some problems in our math, chess and puzzles math workbooks have no written problems, instead children need to solve a puzzle and then follow a few chess moves to arrive the answers. The idea behind the integration of math, chess, and puzzles in our pencil-and-paper worksheets reflects how children are handling information and data using different kinds of data formats and this truly represents the learning environment children face today. This workbook is created to showcase a collection of some very interesting and unique problems coming from some of our previously published Ho Math Chess workbooks.
