Those of the several islands of the Sand wich group are copied from a map of the Sandwich Islands, drawn, engraved and printed at Lahainaluna, by natives who have been educated under the care of the American Mission. Several others have been prepared expressly for this work, from manuscript and printed maps furnished by missionaries, and never before published in this country.
