We have no account of Jacob Turpin from the time he was an infant until the time of his marriage. He married a lady by the name of Martha Taylor. They were married in Bourbon county, Kentucky in 1804: The exact date is not now known. Mar tha Taylor was born in Kentucky, May 18, 1786. Her parents were of Scotch descent.
