Their very names seemed about to be lost. N ow, however, enough is recovered to evince that our predecessors - 0ur Fathers and Confessors - were mighty in word and deed; and that, to the dismay of their calumniators, their renown is spreading far and wide, with the dominion to which they and their immediate descendants gave existence, and which promises to be as enduring as the world!
