Rose Flannigan is a young woman on a mission. She's using her nursing skills to bring modern medicine to the citizens of Rainbow Canyon, a remote town in the still untamed southwest of 1914. Not everyone takes to her newfangled ideas, including Lt. Ethan Gray from nearby Fort Bradley. He is, however, quite taken with her, despite her sometimes radical views and a frustrating independent streak. He's on a mission of his own, to win this courageous and compassionate lady's heart - though she's none to eager to give it up. Complications arise when a vandal is determined to thwart Rose and close down her clinic. Can a near tragedy bring these two stubborn individuals together and teach them the value of compromise?
