Publisher's Synopsis
All Gethar Willow desired was to treat his lifemate, Hatham, to another anniversary week at Trenni. A beach resort with lavish accommodations, pleasure cruises, and constant pampering. Before the couple's departure, however, Hatham changed their vacation plans last minute and asked to spend their anniversary week elsewhere. Instead of Trenni, she convinced Gethar to take her to Truckstop One. A bed and breakfast fueling station at the outskirts of the Exterior.
Upon their arrival at Truckstop One, Hatham falls ill. Stricken with a Droll-made biological illness once thought to have been eradicated 100 years earlier. The progression of the sickness triggers a Truckstop quarantine, forcing Gethar into a position of desperation to keep her alive. Trapped on the third floor with Tyreel Dimon and Markena Stone, the three race against time to find a cure before the disease takes Hatham from him.
