Ceterum qui hac annotationum collectione utentur aequumque de iis judicium ferre volent non obliviscentur iis scriptas esse temporibus quae horum studiorum adju mentis plurimis, quibus hodie utimur, carerent: ut non mirandum sit veteres illos interpretes plurima vel falsa tradidisse vel manca et imperfecta reliquisse, quorum cor rectiones et supplementa e libris qui nunc in omnium manibus versantur transcribere facile quidem sit, sed inutile.
