"Science and Technology" is a series for the natural sciences and technology learning programme in the intermediate phase. Concepts, skills and processes are developed and practiced through activities, experiments and open-ended investigations, using everyday resources wherever possible. Learners are encouraged to discover the usefulness and relevance of science and technology in their own lives and in society. The ideas are presented as problems for the learners to solve, promoting interest and excitement in the scientific and technological world around us.
