Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Handbook of Courses Open to Women in British, Continental and Canadian Universities: Supplement for 1897 Compiled for the Graduate Club of Bryn Mawr College
On one point the arrangement of the Handbook seems to have been misunderstood by several readers. When a professor of a certain subject lectures on some other subject as, for instance, when a professor of theology lectures on Semitic languages - his name is given under both headings, though his official title may have reference to only one of them.
The editor wishes to express her thanks to all those who have so kindly supplied information and corrections, and will be grateful for corrections of any errors that may still have been overlooked. All communications concerning the Handbook or Supplement should be addressed to Miss isabel maddison, Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
