The book also aims to provide a supporting body of information on specific practical techniques, procedures and problems. Thus the materials survey is followed by a simple identification scheme which can easily be adapted for specific use on the shop floor. The section on processing includes a chapter on trouble shooting with the major processes and a brief discussion of design principles and problems.
