Publisher's Synopsis
3 year old Eben and his Grandma a.k.a. Captain Hammer and Captain Shadow - are caught up in an adventure created by the 3-year old Eben from his imagination. Taking off from their home sunroom the two pilots board space-ships ( a sofa and armchair) and zoom off into space, pass several planets, experiencing some turbulence, as they journey far to visit aliens on Pluto waiting to play with Captain Hammer. However, along the way, Captain Hammer's space ship is attacked by other scary looking aliens. These aliens damage Captain Hammer's space ship and Captain Shadow, from her space pod, has to use a rope to rescue Captain Hammer's badly broken space ship. Getting safely back home, after the harrowing encounter, Captain Hammer, now 3 year old Eben again, suggests to his grandma that as they are home safe, they should have some hot chocolate and he would like to have 5 marshmallows in his cup. The illustrator has a surprise waiting Eben in the kitchen...
