Halloween at the Pumpkin Patch follows ten-year-old Emma Parker, who feels lonely after her best friend, Lucy, moves away. During a Halloween visit to the Bailey family's pumpkin patch, Emma is drawn to a peculiar pumpkin under a twisted oak tree. Touching it transports her to a shadowy forest where she meets Jacob, a boy trapped there by a witch's curse.
Jacob explains that the witch stole the souls of children, trapping them in the forest. Emma bravely ventures to the witch's lair, finds the amulet holding the curse, and destroys it, freeing Jacob and the other children.
