The book is printed in black and white and the emphasis is more on information - this is an encyclopedia, not a coffee table book. However, the book features extensive photographs from David Plastik, a legendary photographer of the era, as well as other contributors. The newest edition of the book features some minor revisions and some photos have been added/changed.
