Mr. Edwards. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. The sub committee will come to order. Chairman Slattery cannot be with us today, but he's asked me to conduct this hearing in his behalf.
We meet today to hear testimony from the va, veterans' service organizations, and one of our distinguished colleagues, the Honor able Tom Lewis of Florida, on several bills that affect the va's compensation and pension programs, as well as certain personnel at the Board of Veterans' Appeals.
