Chapters 4-5 demonstrates recruiting and preparing ushers. Then the author describes the discipline necessary to acclimate to structure, which invariably leads to resistance. The plot thickens with conflict through Chapters 6-9. In Chapter 10 the plot reaches a Climax as the leader of the team implodes as organizing efforts explode! In Chapters 11-15 the plot changes direction and reads like a novel!
In the end, the author takes a "low road" of humility to point out the importance of forgiveness that heals relationships and becomes the key to change. It is a must read for every serious pastor and leader who see the ushering team as a ministry of "Helps" to come alongside worship.
