Guide and Index to the Texas Adjutant General Service Records, 1836-1935 is offered in a two-volume series that will guide the researcher to the wealth of information that is available both online and on microfilm while offering corrections to online mistakes. Most of the service records prior to the Frontier Forces and Frontier Battalions consist of documents that give evidence of service, but are not a printed form with the highlights of service written on it.
