Publisher's Synopsis
The Grumman A-6 Intruder is an American twinjet all-weather attack aircraft, and the EA-6B Prowler is a twin-engine, four-seat, mid-wing electronic-warfare aircraft derived from the Intruder airframe. The A-6 was in service with the United States Navy and Marine Corps between 1963 and 1997, during which time multiple variants were prototyped and produced, while Prowler was in service with the US Armed Forces from 1971 until 2019\. This book explores the history and development of each aircraft, as well as their service histories.
