Publisher's Synopsis
A mysterious and enigmatic man, who goes only by the name Addonexus, begins his mission to assemble a team to rescue an oblivious world from the brink of annihilation. Addonexus recruits Allison Williamson, an empathetic genius who works as a negotiator for the United Nations, Ryan DeLuca, a former Army Ranger trying to leave a life of violence in his past, Dan Morgan, a resourceful and talented LAPD Detective, and Lauren Riztini, a college student trying to find herself after the tragic death of her biological parents. The team is also joined by Rene Victus, a witty and sarcastic guide, as well as a strong, confident, and graceful woman known only as Angelia. Addonexus reveals that mankind is caught in the middle of an invisible and ancient war that threatens their very existence. Nervous and fearful, the team begins its fight to save everything they have known. As they inch closer to the source of their future destruction, clues begin to surface that they have been betrayed by one of their own.
