Nem Kwon is an illegitimate child, brought into a high class family in which he has no real place. Though initially talented and beloved, years later, he witnesses the shallowness of both high and low society and falls into a deep solitude, losing faith in himself and the world around him.
After a fateful encounter with a girl named Eri, his frustrations are finally sparked, leading the two of them down a darker path, one that he can't bring himself to turn away from. Set in a dream world mirroring our own, Nem narrates his mental struggles hidden in his simple life that teeters on the edge of falling apart.
