Traditional long division is very difficult for third and fourth-graders. They must estimate or guess quotient digits and then test these guesses with error-prone multiplication. Errors usually cannot be found until the long, frustrating process ends with a result that does not check. Good News Long Division requires no guessing and no multiplication.
