Man s longing to reach the stars is now within our grasp The Goldilocks Mission is the first dedicated organization to set, as its goal, the travel to and the colonization of another truly livable planet when it is discovered. This may take many decades before this mission leaves earth and possibly many more, depending on future developments and discoveries in propulsion in space and time travel, before it arrives at its new home. But like asking the question; when is the best time to start planning and saving for ones child s education? The best answer, of course, is before that child is born. And so it is with the Goldilocks Mission. We are now in the Renaissance of Space discovery; with over a dozen space telescopes now operating and many more in the pipeline and with the discovery of hundreds of exoplanets, planets outside of our own solar system, that have been discovered in last few decades - we are embarking on the greatest discovery and migration Mankind has ever known. The incredible exponential explosion of knowledge and communications that is now taking place worldwide will bring many of the technologies and materials needed for this mission into our hands quicker than one might imagine. It will be necessary to put aside the negativity that beleaguers mankind, and rise above the constraints, limitations and conventions that shackle and restrain man from his better nature and get down to the exciting, fun and challenging efforts to build a better future and awaken and redirect the very best that beats in the hearts of all good men and women. This is the most exciting and ambitious undertaking human beings have ever attempted. The Goldilocks Mission is reaching out to a world of nearly 7 billion people with a clear, simple message: We will travel to and colonize another very livable planet, when it is discovered. We, our children and our children s children are so very special within this universe and yet as a species we are very vulnerable; weather it is from an asteroid, climatic change, war, disease, overpopulation, or any number of other possible catastrophes. I believe it is our prime obligation, if not for ourselves then for those that will come after us, at this time to set forth and expand Man to another livable planet and increase our survivability many fold. A back up home, if you will, where human life can further ensure its survival if something tragic, God forbid, were to happen to humanity or to our Dear Mother Earth. And thus we have the Goldilocks Mission, and the wonderful, exciting work of Man s Next Migration. This is the vision, this is the journey, and this is the time to begin.
