I would like to know what the status of those standards is now, and I would also like to know whether or not there is still a major effort taking place with respect to standards in other education fields; whether they are scientific or mathematical on the one hand, or the social sciences on the other hand, and whether we are likely to be faced with controversy with respect to potential future standards.
