Movie star Gia Scala, beautiful and famous, was courted by rich and powerful men, but the man she loved, left her for another.Her rise to fame was meteoric: when a contestant on a TV game show-- "Stop the Music," she was spotted by a Universal Studios talent scout. Offered a screen test, soon thereafter she was cast in a movie with Rock Hudson. More films followed with stars Glenn Ford, Errol Flynn, Gregory Peck, and so on. When she met the love of her life, her "Tesoro" as she called him; the yo-yo relationship lasted a few years, then he left her for another star, a younger woman, beautiful and talented. Gia was deeply hurt and never recovered from her loss, and the humiliation.
