Erwähnen will ich hier schon, daß im Norden des zu be handelnden Gebietes sich eine tektonisch bedingte Übergangs zone geltend macht.
Eine erste geologische Bearbeitung unseres Gebietes finden wir in einer im Jahre 1858 erschienenen Arbeit von ph. Platz.
