Genesis means origin and Evolution narrates change in morphology, genotype and phenotype due to changes caused by man, environment, natural disasters and migration. Horticultural crops-fruits, vegetables, plantation crops, spices, ornamentals, aromatic and medicinal plants-underwent evolutionary processes and steps to reach present forms and types.
