The Cafe, which is one of the principal rivers in the kingdom, takes' its rife from a fpring called Oufe-well, near Brackley, in the hundred of Sut ton. It quickly leaves this county, and after taking a circuitous courfe through part of Buckingham ihite, touches again upon it at Stoney Stratford; from whence it pafi'es to Newport-paguel and to Bedford; from which lafi place it is navigable to the fea at Lynn.
