This edition of the General Specifications for Structural Work of Buildings is a reprint from the one published in Transactions of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Vol. LIV, page 490 re vised to date. It contains additional tables and other useful informa tion, also specifications for concrete and reinforced concrete for build ing construction.
As reinforced concrete construction has lately come into extended use for building work, the writer thought it expedient to include a set of regulations covering its essential requirements, based on what he considers safe practice.
