Publisher's Synopsis

Rich in American West imagery and historical content, this is the largest compilation of images of one of America's finest printmakers, National Academician, Alice Geneva (Glasier) Kloss. These two hardcover volumes presented in a custom slipcase contain 482 of Kloss' 627 catalogued images, plus many rare uncatalogued prints and sketches spanning 1924 to 1985. Along with personal notes and letters from Kloss to Mary L. Sanchez, the author's mother, the owner of Gallery A in Taos, this limited first edition contains extensive alphanumeric cross referencing, updated dimensions, dates, edition numbers and media. It is a culmination of over 13 years of research and collaboration with collectors, galleries and fine art museums.
