Publisher's Synopsis
The author about his book:
My lifelong studies on epistemology and sociological theories have finally led to a materialistic epistemology. This book, a revised, enlarged and more thorough edition of my major work ′Geistige und körperliche Arbeit′ (Intellectual and physical work) from 1970, contains the fundamental principles of this theory. It states, in simple terms, that epistemological studies can be and should be dealt with as part of the historical sciences.
It was the idealism that separated them from history and assigned them to a pure intellect. It is this separation through idealism that led to the scandalous dichotomy between the humanities and natural sciences.
