Publisher's Synopsis
Prosecutor John Lochate (Luh-kah-tee) took an oath to pursue justice. But when the Torreon cartel targeted John and his drug team for assassination, he was no longer interested. John Lochate wanted revenge, and he was committed to doing whatever was necessary to get it. Newly formed and needing to make a big splash, John's drug team goes after the street gang, Devil's Nation, and investigates the death of an alderman's daughter. The team's intel suggests that rather than dying from an accidental overdose, the daughter was murdered. Suspicions fall upon the alderman, given his rumored involvement in the drug trade. But the alderman has connections, and he and his friends within the city will not go down without a fight.
