Garífuna ABC book was designed to captivate a child's attention by offering an engaging new way for children to discover and while laying a foundation for learning the Garífuna language. Each letter of the alphabet is illustrated by two objects whose name begins with that letter - learning the Garífuna language is fun from A to Z! The activity section encourages children to practice what they have learned. The Garífuna language, dance, music were declared a "Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO.
