Cut out these cools cards and begin the fun of learning phonograms. The English language is one of the most complicated languages to learn - many words are "borrowed" from other languages, and there are many slang terms that might confuse the new reader. This book was created to assist new readers of the English language, from children to adults who wish to learn English as a Second Language (ESL). Generally speaking, there are only approximately 70 commonly used phonograms, but we've added more to make a total of 273 different combinations of letters and examples of words demonstrating the various sounds those letters might make.
