But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such here is no law. Gal. 5:22-23
The convincing evidence of a Spirit-filled believer is when you see fruit (love, joy, peace, goodness, etc.) in their life.
Believer cannot produce fruit without the aid of Holy Spirit working through them.
The fruit of the Spirit then is the outward and telling sign that one is being led and guided by the Holy Spirit.
Our focus should be on the Lord and being sensitive to his prompting as the fruit is a by-product of being connected to; living and abiding in the vine (John 15:4-5).
