Seit meinem letzten Briefe habe ich das Glück gehabt, eine ganze Familie (6 Stück) von der von mir supponir ten neuen A?'enart zu erlegen, für welche ich in dem Falle, dass meine Supposition gegründet sein sollte, den Namen des amazulu-.stammes Samango vorschlage. Diese Aii'enart (cerc0pithecus) kommt gewöhnlich familienweise in den tiefsten Waldern vor, und gelingt es, den Bäu men, ia welchen sie sich befinden, nahe zu kommen, so kann man eine ganze Menge, einen nach dem andern.
