Publisher's Synopsis
This volume comprises contributions by former trainees of Dr. Fred Plum and present faculty in his Department of Neurology and Neuroscience at Cornell University and Medical College, all of whom have achieved prominence in clinical neurology and/or neuroscience. The proceedings focus on recent research in the field, including developmental, molecular, cellular, and systems neuroscience relevant to stroke, demyelinating and degenerative diseases (notably, multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer's), pain epilepsy, neuro-oncology, neuro-imaging, sensory processing, disorders of skeletal muscle, cerebrovascular regulation, and cognition.
