Many times in life we will hold on to the things that people have done to us in the past and never truly get over and heal from it. As a result, with not understanding that "hurt people hurt people," we allow the cycle to continue and repeat itself. Through God's word, we hold the power to not only forgive those that hurt us and heal but to be made whole and go back for those who wronged us so they too can be made whole, ending the cycle once and for all. I am a witness to this! I forgave the one who abused me for years and went back, allowing God to minister to our broken places and set us free. Only God can do this and whom the son sets free is free indeed. Allow God's word to set you free and go back!
