The Jatarians continue to build their colony just outside of Federation space. When will they strike? Where will they strike? The Federation continues to build up its fleet. Will it be ready if the Jatarians attack? Slade finds himself being chased by Jatarian scout ships. What will he do? Will his time as captain end so quickly? A federation military ship hunts for Slade's ship. Will it find him? When a ship is destroyed by the enemy, who is to blame? Maro sends a call for help. Will Slade make it in time to save him?
