Mackenzie Leigh was abandoned by her mother at a young age. She grew up in group homes and was shuffled around a lot until she met Charlotte and Jillian. The trio was together for fifteen years until Mackenzie was abducted and tortured by a serial killer the media dubbed as 'The Butcher'. A news story reports her survival and she becomes the center of a devious plan 'The Butcher' has to finish what he started with her. The only known survivor, she felt as though the investigation into the capture of the maniacal mastermind behind her terrifying ordeal was taking longer than it should. She decides to surround herself in the investigation. When another survivor surfaces, a bond quickly forms between the two victims. While attempting a therapeutic method to overcome their fears of being mutilated, both victims are again attacked.
