This book is a collection of his writings, the title derived from his popular radio show, The Long Version. In the movie, "Liar, Liar," another attorney named "Fletcher," played by actor Jim Carrey exaggerates the stories of his self-centered, money-grubbing clients to make money for his law firm and boost his career. Fletcher's son makes a wish that for just one day his father can't tell a lie. But Fletcher Long does not have to be under a spell to tell the truth, which he acknowledges is somewhere in the Long Version of any story.
