Publisher's Synopsis
The over-all theme of For The Love of a Dragon is about strong character growth of a man on a twisted path through time and alternate dimensions. The story is told through the perspective of the main character with some narration. There are strong elements of romance and magic, some heavy emotional situations, and plenty of humor. My goal was to create something from my imagination that would profoundly stir me, I wanted to be the author of what I would consider to be my favorite book. I may have succeeded, I laugh and cry every read through. In the a broad stroke, Scott Randall is a child of Earth and will find himself in a new magical world, Arius, where he falls in love and accepts his fate as it will be made clear to him. As his place and purpose develops, he also learns of impending doom that will be unavoidable. Part one is more about defining the situations he finds himself in for the reader to understand how unconventional and extraordinary Scott's plight is. The story continues to build up, layer by layer, to the end where the climax is the cliff hanger that begins the next part of the story. Some of my greatest times of joy have come from writing part one and I am hoping that others that read my story will feel the same way as I do. This is my second attempt to share it with the public in complete and refined form and I hope that it is well received, I am sure that you will enjoy reading it.
