STRONG TOURISM OUTLOOK: IN 2003 over 3.5 million people visited Asia. In the first two months of 2004, over 600,000 Americans arrived in Asia, a 6% increase form the previous year. TRAVEL TRENDS: According to Euro travel commission, China is expected to have very strong travel return to the country in 2004. The effective control of the SARS outbreak allowed tourism to rebound during the second half of 2003 and is expected to continue through 2004.
