Flicker

The technical term and explanation would be aimed towards the FLKR indirect acronym which is explained as: - Flicker, Frame or FFV, a method of modifying poor-quality video files into files that can, and do 'trick' the human eye into observing a clearer and better image.

With 'trickery and deception being the main driver for this World War II counter intelligence spy novel, Lt Colonel Kemp Hastings R.A.
