Flash Cards of Common Freshwater Invertebrates of North America contains flash cards depicting 75 different freshwater invertebrate taxa that are both common and widely distributed across North America. Each individual two-sided card features an original high-quality color scientific illustration of an organism on one side and, on the other, the common and scientific name of the organism along with basic questions and answers about the biology, ecology, and environmental tolerances of the pictured organism. Three sets are available; Set One focuses on organisms at the taxonomic levels of class and order while sets two and three focus on organisms at the family level. Set Two focuses on families of mollusks, stoneflies, mayflies, and caddisflies.
