Here is a letter from thy husband's King. Read and know. The King would have thee do as did thy husband in his journey, and enter into his presence with joy.
Wherefore, I advise thee get thee gone to yonder Wicket Gate that stands at the head of the way, and I wish thee all God speed.
Put thy letter in thy bosom, and read thou therein to thyself and to thy children, for it is one of the songs thou must sing while thou art in thy pilgrimage. This also must thou deliver in at the further gate. Depart in peace.
