On August 30, 1909, the executive committee met for the purpose of Opening bids on the shelving for the State Library. Four firms submitted bids. The award was made to the Snead Co. Iron Works of Jersey City. N. J. A second meeting of the executive committee was held February 7, 1910, for the purpose of viewing the shelving installed in the State Library The work was accepted and ordered paid.
